Following its debut at the Paris Motor Show last week, Renault has released the pricing and specification details for the new Clio.
The new Clio will cost between £10,595 and £16,095 when order books open on 1 November.
Three engines will be on offer: a 1.2-litre four-pot petrol, a 0.9-litre three-cylinder turbocharged unit, and a 1.5-litre diesel. Both the diesel and the 0.9 petrol will also be available with special 'ECO' variants which use lower rolling resistance tyres, tweaked pedal mapping, new gear ratios and smaller wheels to achieve lower CO2 figures and better fuel economy.
For the first time in the Clio's 22-year history, the new model will be available in five-door guise only.
Four levels of trim will be available at launch, ranging from the entry-level Expression model to the top-of-the-range Dynamique S MediaNav.
All models come as standard with driver, passenger, side and curtain airbags, electric front windows and door mirrors, Bluetooth, USB port, stability control, keyless entry and start, Hill Start Assist and cruise control.
Expression+ models also get 16-inch alloys, air-con and front fog lights, while Dynamique MediaNav trim also adds automatic lights and wipers, a 7-inch touchscreen sat-nav and a leather steering wheel.
Range-topping Dynamique S MediaNav models get 17-inch alloys, chrome window surrounds, climate control, centre armrest, rear electric windows, rear parking sensors and electric folding door mirrors.
A new flagship GT Line model is in the pipeline and will arrive alongside the hot Renaultsport version in 2013.
The new Clio reaches UK showrooms next February.
