Nissan has announced two new additions to its Micra range.
The new Kuro and Shiro models in the Micra range - Japanese for Black and White, respectively - are based on the mid-range Micra Acenta, but Nissan have endowed the new models with a number of extra features. These include parking sensors with space measurement, heated front seats, climate control, ivory-effect dashboard, and lighter coloured seat trim to give an airy feel to the cabin. The Nissan Connect integrated SatNav system is a £400 optional extra.
In keeping with its moniker, the Nissan Micra Kuro comes with a metallic Sapphire Black colour scheme, while the Shiro has a choice of Pearl White or Alabaster White paintwork. Both models display a Kuro or Shiro tailgate badge.
Both the Micra Kuro and Micra Shiro are available with a choice of a 1.2-litre petrol or Nissan's new supercharged DIG-S engine. There is also a choice of manual or CVT automatic gearboxes.
Prices for both the Micra Kuro and Micra Shiro start from £11,550 for a 1.2-litre manual model, and Nissan are taking orders now.
