The Nissan Note will now be available with a new luxury trim level called N-Tec+.
Nissan has upgraded the equipment list for the Acenta model of the Nissan note, and introduced a new N-Tec+ trim level at the top of the range.
The Nissan Note is a UK built supermini-MPV, and has sold more than 100,000 units in the UK already. Nissan is hoping to build on this success with improved equipment lists for 2012. Acenta models of the Nissan Note will come with new 'diamond cut' two-tone 16 inch alloy wheels, which replace the 15 inch alloys on the 2011 model, as well as new chrome effect door mirror covers and front foglight surrounds. Inside the Acenta model a new fabric is used for the seats, with blue stitching. Automatic headlights and rain sensing wipers have also been added to the equipment list.
Meanwhile the best-selling N-TEC trim has also been replaced by a higher specification N-TEC+ version, and the old Tekna trim has been dropped. N-TEC+ includes everything listed above for the Acenta trim, plus rear parking sensors, darkened rear privacy glass, and 'Connect' system. The Connect system includes touch screen satellite navigation as well as an audio system with radio and CD player, iPod gateway, USB connectivity and Bluetooth connectivity.
Prices for the Nissan Note start at £11,200 for the Visia model. With Acenta trim the price goes up to £13,000 and the new N-TEC+ is priced at £13,500.
The choice of engines is unchanged, and includes 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre petrol units, and a 1.5-litre dCi diesel with fuel consumption of 67.3mpg and CO2 emissions of 110g/km. The new models of the Nissan Note will be available from early February.
