At the Qatar Motor Show, Lamborghini have announced a new limited edition Gallardo.
Keen students of Italian will have already worked out that ‘Bicolore’ means ‘two colours’. Indeed, the new Gallardo will be available in a striking two-tone paint job. While the roof and pillars on all cars will be painted Noctis black, the rest of the car will be painted in a colour of the customer’s choosing. Available hues will include Giallo Midas (yellow), Arancio Borealis (orange), Grigio Telesto (grey), Bianco Monocerus (white) and Blu Caelum (blue).
The new car will also get new 15 spoke alloys and a lick of gloss black paint on the spoilers and air intakes. On the inside, the seats and dashboard are covered in leather and the colour of the stitching will match the lower half of the bodywork.
Underneath the bonnet it’s business as usual. Mechanically, the Bicolore is based on the LP560-4. This means it has a 5.2 litre V10 churning out 552bhp. It’ll hit 62mph in 3.7 seconds and top out at 201mph.
Lamborghini haven’t yet commented on the price but it is likely to be around the £165,000 mark.
