The new Honda Insight hybrid, which will be unveiled in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show, is set to be cleaner than ever in terms of CO2 emissions.

Boasting enhanced aerodynamics and powertrain efficiency, the new Insight will emit just 96g/km of CO2. The revised model will deliver improved fuel economy, down to reduced engine friction and better air conditioning.

The key fact about the CO2 emissions figure of 96g/km is that it will qualify the vehicle for free road tax, and allow drivers to pass through the London Congestion area free of charge.

Moreover, both external and internal improvements have also been made to the new Insight, including a new front grille, a modified tailgate garnish and a more aerodynamic spoiler. The cabin boasts a higher quality fit and finish and an improved ride quality.
