Visitors to this month's Goodwood Festival of Speed will be treated to the first glimpse of not one but two spectacular new Ferrari models, the Italian manufacturer has revealed.
The first new model is the Ferrari California T, a V8-powered grand tourer. The all-new powered plant developed for the California T promises significantly reduced emissions and fuel consumption without compromising power and perfomance, claim Ferrari.
The second new model to be unveiled at Goodwood will be the Ferrari 458 Speciale. Based on the 458 Italia, the Speciale features advanced aerodynamic devices on the rear diffuser and front spoiler. These mobile aerodynamic aids are a first for Ferrari, and contributed towards eye-catching performance figures for the car. The 458 Speciale has a 0-62mph time of three seconds flat, and lapped the Ferrari test track at Fiorano in just 1min 23.5secs.
The two new models will be joined on the Ferrari stand by a host of others from years past, including the 1964 Ferrari 158 Grand Prix car which will be reunited with John Surtees in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of his Formula One world drivers championship triumph.
