Mitsubishi have announced a widening of their range of finance and contract hire options for the all electric i-MiEV model.
The European-spec Mitsubishi i-MiEV has been on sale since January, taking advantage of a £5,000 Plug-In Car Grant from the UK Government, with contract hire and leasing customers accounting for around a tenth of its overall sales so far this year. The i-MiEV has an on the road price of £24,045 including first registration fee after the Plug-In Car Grant has been deducted. Now, Mitsubishi Contract Motoring has three additional contract hire options for the car with a 35 month, £350 per month deal, a 47 month deal at £279 per month, and a 60 month contract hire option at £239 per month.
In addition, Mitsubishi are now offering a 0% ARP option, comprising a £5,871 deposit, 47 monthly payments of £259, and a final payment of £6,000.
The all-electric Mitsubishi i-MiEV boasts a number of advantages over conventional cars. It is exempt from road tax, the London Congestion Charge, and parking charges in some London Boroughs and cities such as Milton Keynes. The manufacturer claims that, on the Economy 7 tariff, a full charge will cost as little as £1.05.
