The Mitsubishi dealer network will run a special event to launch their new Outlander PHEV.

The weekend of 7th and 8th June will see Mitsubishi dealerships invite the public to come and see their new family 4 x 4 SUV and learn more about what it has to offer. There will also be an opportunity to arrange a test drive and really get a feel for it.

There has been huge interest in the vehicle following their highly successful recent media campaign and the weekend event will run on the back of that interest level.

Eco-conscious customers will be pleased to know that the vehicle qualifies for the Government Plug-In Car grant which is awarded to ultra low emission cars. After the grant, prices will range from £28,249 to £34,999. Furthermore, it is exempt from vehicle excise duty and also free to use in congestion charging areas.

Those who like modern technological touches can look forward to being able to use a special app which allows them to heat the car in the morning from the comfort of their own bed, amongst other things.

Lance Bradley, Managing Director of Mitsubishi Motors in the UK, said:

‘We’re all delighted to see the Outlander PHEV arrive in the showrooms. The Outlander PHEV is the first SUV plug-in hybrid in the UK market that boasts 4WD capability with an EV range of 32.5 miles and emissions as low as 44 g/km. It’s truly a game-changer.’
