Mitsubishi Motors has announced that UK car fans unable to attend the Geneva Motor Show will be able to follow the Mitsubishi Motors Press Conference live via the internet.

Viewers will be able to watch the action through the Mitsubishi website or via the company's UK Facebook page. The event will be broadcast live on Tuesday 6th March, at 9.45am GMT.

Geneva Motor Show surprises

Mitsubishi announced recently that it will unveil its all-new mid-sized 'crossover' model at the coming Geneva Motor Show.

The New Generation Outlander will include a number of improvements to bring it up to date.

Mitsubishi said it will have a low environmental impact (with target emissions below 130g/km minimum - dependant on models & markets), advanced safety (with Forward Collision Mitigation system, Lane Departure Warning system, and Active Cruise Control), comfortable driving (with dual zone air conditioning), clever utilities (with the adoption of a power tail-gate, full 3rd row seating, or flat floor cargo area) and added convenience, with a new tilt & telescopic steering column and Super-HiD "Wide Vision" xenon headlamps.

The New Outlander will have a clean diesel engine but will also accommodate an EV-based plug-in hybrid powertrain. This fully integrated solution is based on Mitsubishi Motors EV technology and extensive 4-Wheel-Drive expertise.

Once its debut in Geneva is complete, the Next Generation Outlander will continue its world launch. First of all it will be launched in Russia this summer, and then it will continue its debut 'tour' to European, Japanese, Oceania, Chinese and North American markets.
