MINI has announced details of a new and improved Countryman for 2013.
The new MINI Countryman is being offered with a revised interior, a host of new paint finishes and Euro 6 classification for the MINI One and MINI Cooper models.
Despite the changes, the Countryman's engine range remains largely unchanged. Three petrol engines and three diesels are on offer, with power outputs ranging from 89bhp to 215bhp; however, the petrol-powered One and Countryman models now boast ultra-low particulate emissions. All models expect the One D will also be offered with an optional six-speed gearbox in addition to the six-speed manual offered as standard.
The Countryman will also be offered in a number of new exterior paint finishes including Brilliant Copper Metallic and Blazing Red Metallic (shown above).
On the inside, the large central speedometer and air vents are finished in Shade Carbon Black or, as an option, in chrome. All models will also get a range of new interior colours, and the Countryman's door armrests have been redesigned to improve driver and passenger comfort.
Prices have yet to be confirmed, but expect full details to be released prior to the Countryman's 2013 launch.
