MINI is celebrating an award-winning performance at the 2011 Motability Supplier Awards at Brocket Hall in Hertfordshire.

MINI scooped a class win at the event, hosted by broadcaster Huw Edwards, in recognition of its service to the Motability scheme's customers. Since joining the Motability scheme in 2006, MINI has seen its share of the market grow, with more than 1,000 Motability orders for the brand in 2011 so far.

MINI was commended by the judges for its cost effective servicing as a result of implementing the Motability Dealership Partnership into its organisation. In additon the MINI's low emissions, which are 99g/km on the MINI One D and MINI Cooper D models, also attracted praise, as did the former's combined fuel economy of 74.3mpg.

Current MINI options on the Motability scheme start with the MINI One Hatch with no advance payment required, rising to advance payments of £499 for the MINI Convertible, £549 for the MINI Clubman, and the MINI Countryman at £999.
