The MG 3 supermini will be cost from between £8,399 and £9,999 when its goes on sale in the UK next month.
There will be four models available from launch, ranging from the entry level 3Time models through the mid-range 3Form and 3Sport variants to the top-of-the-range 3Style model.
All MG 3s will come as standard with LED front lights, electronic hill-hold, six airbags, electronic stability control, corner brake control, traction control and a CD player with MP3 compatibility and an aux-in socket.
The mid-range, 3Form model costs £9,299 and adds air-conditioning, DAB radio, Bluetooth and audio streaming and a leather steering wheel with red stitching and steering wheel-based audio controls. 3Sport models cost and extra £250 and add a sports body styling pack and 16-inch 'Carousel' alloys.
Top-of-the-range 3Style models get cruise control, automatic lights and wipers, and rear parking sensors. 16-inch 'Diamond' alloy wheels are also included, as is a sports body pack which includes a rear boot spoiler and side sill extensions.
MG is also making a big noise about a range of personalisation options available on the MG 3, including a "huge range" of colours, exterior graphics, interior colour packs and leather upholstery.
The MG 3 will be offered with a 105bhp petrol engine and a five-speed manual gearbox. MG predicts that an insurance group rating of 4E is on the cards, which it claims is less than half that of its rivals.
