Mercedes has revealed its new CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake, after a heavily disguised prototype was shown at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The news comes just a week after Mercedes unveiled the new estate version of its CLS model.
The Shooting Brake will be fitted with the same 5.5-litre twin-turbo V8 as the coupe, but has been tweaked to produce a whopping 549bhp and 590lb-ft of torque. Expect a 0-62mph time of 4.4 seconds and an electronically-limited top speed of 155mph.
The power will be sent to the rear wheels through an AMG MCT seven-speed gearbox and the CLS also comes with the AMG Performance Pack and AMG Ride Control, which features three-way adjustable air suspension.
Start/stop will also be fitted as standard, helping the CLS Shooting Brake to achieve a respectable 28.1mpg and 235g/km of CO2.
The CLS AMG 63 Shooting Brake will go on sale in the UK early next year, with prices starting from a few grand over the coupe's price tag of £81,180.
