British drivers can get their hands on a Mercedes-Benz ML 63 AMG for an on the road price of £82,995.
The model boasts exterior features including: an AMG sports exhaust system with two twin tailpipes, ‘V8 BITURBO’ lettering on the front wings and LED daytime running lamps as part of the standard Intelligent Light System.
Features on the interior include the Mercedes-Benz COMAND Online system which gives the model a Media Interface and DAB digital radio. Drivers will also be able to enjoy a dashboard trimmed in Artico artificial leather and an electric glass sunroof.
Optional packages include an AMG Performance Package for £6,165 and drivers who want to reach an increased speed of 174 mph, up from the normal top speed of 155 mph, can do so with the £2,820 Driver’s Package. For £420 drivers can also purchase the AMG Performance steering wheel with Dinamica inserts in the grip areas.
The ML 63 AMG takes 4.8 seconds to go from 0-62mph. The model also features 20-inch five-spoke alloy wheels in addition to Direct Steer and high-performance brakes with internally ventilated and perforated discs.
Olla Källenius, Chairman of Mercedes-Gmbh, said the model reached “new standards in terms of performance, exclusivity and a superlative driving experience” before going on the add that the 4 x 4 had “the efficiency factor, which is acquiring ever greater emphasis at Mercedes-AMG.”
According to the manufacture the Active Curve System with AirMATIC self-levelling air suspension, which comes as standard, helps drivers to get more ‘handling when cornering’.
CO2 emissions (276 g/km) and fuel efficiency are cut by 30% and 40% respectively, thanks to the AMG Speedshift Plus 7G-Tronic Plus automatic transmission with ECO start/stop.
Controlled Efficiency driving mode also gives the model a combined fuel economy of 23.9 mpg.
