Mazda has announced their latest additions to the ‘Venture Edition’, hoping to attract UK car buyers this spring.
“The arrival of the new Mazda6 Venture Edition models, with their unique combination of advanced technology, sports styling, a premium interior and great added value will attract new consumers to our showrooms,” commented Peter Allibon, Sales Director at Mazda UK.
The new models will have a starting price of £21,000 and, as Mazda has also announced, buyers will enjoy a low-rate of 0% and 5.9% APR finance until 31 July 2012.
As the manufacturer revealed, the Mazda6 Venture Edition trio (petrol and diesel five-door and diesel estate models) are based on Mazda6 TS2 models.
Aside from this, the car will include further additional features such as a part-leather seating trim and heated front seats as well as Sanyo TomTom navigation and integrated Bluetooth connectivity.
Regarding its exterior, the vehicle features 17-inch gunmetal alloy wheels, a Sports front grille, privacy glass and is available in a range of colours.
“In its latest form, Mazda6 has aggressive front styling and delivers a dynamic and engaging drive, with strongly performing petrol and diesel engines, plus finely tuned suspension and steering, and a top quality spacious and practical interior,” added Allibon, giving more details on the car.

Allibon also stressed that the Mazda6 boasts competitive fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, stating:
“All these attributes are underpinned by reduced costs and Mazda’s outstanding Japanese-style build quality and reliability.”
Venture Edition buyers going for the petrol model will drive a 2.0-litre (155 PS/ 153 bhp) MZR engine which accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 10.3 seconds and returns 40.9 mpg on a combined cycle whilst emitting 159 g/km CO2.
Buyers opting for the diesel version will drive a 2.2-litre (163 PS/ 161 bhp) MZR-CD engine that accelerates to 62 mph in 9.2 seconds and returns 53.3 mpg on a combined cycle whilst delivering CO2 emissions of 140 g/km for the hatchback and 141 g/km for the estate.
Both models qualify for Road Fund Licence (road tax) bands E and F.
