Mazda has introduced two 'Black Limited Edition' models inspired by the MX-5 GT racing car - the MX-5 Sport Black and the Mazda2 Black.
The MX-5 Sport Black has a Brilliant Black electric retractable hard-top roof and is available with a choice of three exterior colours - Velocity Red, Crystal White Pearlescent and the Spirited Green metallic shown here. It will be fitted with a 158bhp 2.0-litre engine and will feature a wide range of kit including climate control, a Bose audio system, cruise control and hands-free Bluetooth.
Only 500 examples of the MX-5 Sport Black will be produced and they will cost £22,995.
The Mazda 2 Black is available with the same choice of colours as the MX-5 and will feature an 83bhp, 1.3-litre engine. Privacy glass, 16" alloys and a black vinyl roof will instantly distinguish it from other Mazda 2s in the range. Inside, the Black gets electric rear windows, Parrot Bluetooth and climate control along with a numbered plaque denoting the car's limited edition status.
Only 618 cars will be produced for the UK market with prices starting from £12,395.
