Lexus has updated its CT200h for 2014 with a range of styling, handling and equipment upgrades and lower prices.
The main exterior changes include a new, more aggressive front grille which, on the F Sport model, gets the same mesh pattern as that fitted to the new IS F saloon. There's a new rear spoiler with integrated air ducts, new detailing, new wheel designs and a shark's fin aerial.
Inside, there's new slim-line seven-inch monitor on the centre console, a new steering wheel taken from the IS and a new gear lever.
The current range of six models -- S, SE, Advance, Luxury, F Sport and Premier -- has been retained; however, the mid-spec Advanced trim now comes with parking sensors, heated front seats and the new Lexus Navigation system as standard.
The Lexus CT200h retains its 1.8-litre petrol electric hybrid powertrain but with reduced emissions across the range. The S model now emits just 82g/km of CO2 and will return 78.5mpg, while the other models in the range will return 68.9mpg.
Prices for the new CT200h have been slashed by between £1,000 and £1,500 across the range, with the exception of the Advance, which remains the same price. Prices start from £20,995 for the S (a £1,000 reduction), rising to £29,495 for the Premier (a £1,500 reduction).
The 2014 CT 200h is available to order now, with the first customer deliveries expected in March.
