The Land Rover Defender has been with us now, in one form or another, for sixty-four years, and it seems as if it might be with us for a while longer yet as Land Rover reveals a host of improvements to its venerable old war-horse.
Land Rover has given the Defender two new exterior colours -- Barolo Black and Havana -- and buyers can also now choose to have the Landy with a contrasting roof in Santorini Black, Orkney Grey, Indus Silver or Firenze Red.
A common (and justified) criticism of the Defender is that it's not the most comfortable car in the world, and Land Rover has aimed to correct this with the addition of new part leather seats and a new 150W subwoofer and better speakers for the in-car sound system.
The new Defender is on sale now, with prices starting from £22,350.
