Land Rover has unveiled its new Defender XTech Special Edition.

The special edition Defender will be offered in a choice of unique exterior colours -- Orkney Grey and Nara Bronze -- and will feature a Santorini Black roof and wheel arches, and a black chequer plate on the sills and bumpers.

The XTech also gets gloss-black 'Saw Tooth' 16-inch alloy wheels with off-road tyres, LED lights, Santorini Black headlamp surrounds and gloss black Land Rover lettering on the bonnet.

Inside, black part leather seats are also included with Land Rover logos embossed on both the front headrests and the floor mats.

Standard kit includes ABS, traction control, remote central locking, air-con, heated seats and a heated windscreen.

Under the bonnet, the XTech is fitted with Landy's 2.2-litre diesel engine, developing 266lb-ft of torque.

The XTech will be available as both a 90 Hard Top and a 110 Utility Wagon and will go on sale later this month with prices starting from £27,995.
