The new Land Rover Discovery Sport has been revealed for the first time, with photos of two scale models of the new car appearing online.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen glimpses of the new Landy, although it’s the first glimpse we’ve been given of the full car, undisguised.
It’s clear that Land Rover has tinkered with the Discovery Vision Concept, which was revealed at the New York Motor Show earlier this year.
As you can see, Land Rover has also added a panoramic sunroof, along with the company’s de rigueur Discovery badging on the nose.
Although no specification or pricing details on the new car have yet been revealed, the Discovery Sport is expected to rival the likes of the Audi Q5, BMW X3 and Porsche Macan. The new car is part of Land Rover’s new model strategy, which will see the company’s line-up split into utilitarian Defender models, mid-range Discovery models and range-topping Range Rover models.
More information will be revealed when the car is officially revealed next month.
