Land Rover has revealed the UK pricing structure for its stylish new Range Rover Evoque model.
The entry-level 5-door eD4 2WD will set you back £27,955 if you select the 'Pure' specification with the 6-speed manual gearbox - 4WD will cost an extra £750. Pure, along with Prestige and Dynamic, are the three 'design themes' which customers will be encouraged to use as a starting point for personalising their vehicle. There are many options for doing this with 12 body colours, 16 interior schemes, three different roof treatments, and seven types of alloy wheel to choose from.
'Pure' models are fitted with 18-inch alloy wheels, Hill Launch Assist, heated leather seats, climate control, touch screen display, Bluetooth and two USB ports. Pay the extra £750 for the 4WD option and you get Hill Descent Control too.
'Dynamic' is the sportiest model which sits on 20-inch Sparkle Silver alloys and has cosmetic differences such as deeper body sills and bumpers, and black headlights on the mirrors, grille, and side fender blades. It has aluminium covers for the pedals, leather-covered steering wheel and gearknob, and a metal-finished centre console. The Adaptive Dynamics System with MagnaRide damper control is also a standard feature of the Dynamic, and an optional extra on the Prestige SD4 model.
In addition to the practical 5-door model there is also a stunning 3-door coupe option available for a premium of £1,000.
If you want the top spec model in the range, £44,320 will buy the 240bhp 2.0-litre turbocharged Evoque coupe with automatic gearbox.
The 4WD Evoque goes on sale this coming September, with the 2WD models available in Spring 2012.
