In the first annual CarBuyer Awards the Jaguar XK was presented with the title of ‘Most Stylish’ car.

This year's Geneva Motor Show saw the Motoring and Digital Editor of CarBuyer Dan Strong present an award for 'Most Stylish' car to the Global Brand Director of Jaguar Cars Adrian Hallmark and the firm's Design Director Ian Callum. The award, given as part of the inaugural CarBuyer Awards, was given to honour the Jaguar XK coupe.

Presenting the award, Dan Strong said:

"From its E-type inspired nose to its muscular rear end, the Jaguar XK is everything a British sportscar should be. It is beautiful to look at and extremely well proportioned. But that's not the only reason for our accolade. The stunning Coupé is blessed with one of the most evocative badges in the world of motoring. If you want to turn heads, look no further."

The XK, designed by a team led by Ian Callum, is extremely light thanks to its aluminium body. In the latest version, the XKR-S, it packs plenty of power too, delivering 542.5bhp, and can accelerate from 0-62 in 8.7 seconds.

Commented on this honour for the XK, Ian Callum said:

"This is a tremendous achievement for the XK in a category with such strong competition. Jaguar continues to be about the creation of fast, beautiful cars - we're honoured that CarBuyer should see fit to recognise the XK with such an Award."
