Readers of BusinessCar Magazine have chosen the Jaguar XJ for the title of ‘Best Luxury Car’.

The all-new XJ, Jaguar's flagship executive car, can now add the title of 'Best Luxury Car' from BusinessCar Magazine readers to its long list of accolades which already includes over 20 international honours. The XJ is available to buy in the UK from £55,000.

The Editor of BusinessCar magazine, Paul Barker, gave his take on the choice of the XJ for the top honour, saying:

"The stunning new Jaguar XJ is already proving its worth and appeal in the corporate marketplace, and deservedly takes the BusinessCar Award in what's a very competitive sector.

"Jaguar's targeted approach with the new car in the business car market is obviously paying off, as this reader-voted award proves."

Meanwhile the Managing Director of Jaguar UK, Geoff Cousins, who accepted the award on behalf of the company, commented:

"As the BusinessCar Awards are decided solely by the readers of the magazine and website, it means the Jaguar XJ is a proven hit in the UK business market. Sales show it achieved segment leadership despite only going on sale in May 2010 and we're delighted to add this award to its credentials.

"The XJ is our latest model and has brought a bold new approach to the luxury car market in the UK with its distinctive design, generous accommodation, exceptional performance and strong economy credentials."
