Jaguar has introduced a new Speed Pack for the XFR which raises the car's top speed to 174mph.
XFRs equipped with the Speed Pack will also benefit from suspension and drivetrain tweaks and a new bodykit.
The standard XFR, like most European performance saloons, is limited to 155mph; however, fitment of the new Speed Pack removes the limiter, allowing the XFR to reach its true top speed.
Despite the higher top speed, the Jag's 5.0-litre supercharged V8 still develops 503bhp, but both the engine and the gearbox have been revised to cope with the extra performance.
The Speed Pack costs an extra £2,750 on top of the XFR's purchase price, bringing the total cost of the car up to £68,130.
This might seem a lot for an extra 19mph that you'll probably never use; however, you'll be able to revel in the fact that your supercharged Jag is faster than the more expensive BMW M5 and Mercedes E 63 AMG.
