Jaguar has updated its entry-level XF model with a new and improved 2.2-litre diesel engine which delivers better fuel efficiency and lower CO2 emissions.
The new ECO2 engine replaces the previous 2.2-litre diesel and features larger exhaust gas recirculation valves and an improved cooling assembly to reduce emissions and fuel consumption. The new model emits just 129g/km of CO2 and will return 57.5mpg, compared to the 135g/km and 55.4mpg delivered by the old model.
The XF's power output and performance figures remain unchanged.
In addition to the efficiency improvements, Jaguar has also fitted the new XF with an improved sat-nav system, which it claims is more focussed and intuitive than before.
There are also new exterior paint colours, with Osmium replacing Crystal Blue and Dark Sapphire replacing Indigo Blue.
