Jaguar has announced the pricing and engine line-up for the new XF Sportbrake.
The XF Sportbrake -- the XF estate to you and me -- will be made available with diesel engines only. You've got a choice of two 2.2-litre units, producing either 161bhp or 197bhp, and a 3.0-litre turbocharged oil-burner, producing 237bhp or 266bhp, depending on the model.
The 2.2-litre engines return a combined 55.4mpg and emit 135g/km of CO2, while the V6s manage 46mpg and 163g/km. The top-of-the-range Diesel S model, with the 266bhp V6, gets from 0-60mph in 6.1 seconds.
Both the XF saloon and Sportbrake are now available with an eight-speed automatic gearbox and stop/start as standard.
Prices for the XF Sportbrake will start from £31,940 for the base 2.2-litre model, rising to £51,505 for the top-of-the-range 3.0 Diesel S Portfolio.
The first XF Sportbrakes will be delivered to customers towards the end of the year.
