BMW has announced a new fifth-generation version of its popular M5 Saloon car.
With over 25 years at the very top of the high-performance saloon market the BMW M5 has a great pedigree, and the new fifth-generation of this popular model does not disappoint.
BMW has raised its game with this one, managing to combine race car dynamics with the unbeatable comfort of a touring car, which is now taken to an even higher level.
The new engine, making its world premiere for this car, will be the most powerful unit yet from the high-performance M division at BMW. It will include race-bred chassis technology such as electronic damping control and an Active M differential.
The unique external styling of the new M5 Saloon has been designed with performance in mind, whilst the luxury but clearly sports car inspired cabin offers drivers a large range of innovative driver assistance systems.
Available for a list price of £73,040 on-the-road, the new M5 Saloon car will be available for customers in the UK to buy in November 2011.
