Hyundai has revealed the pricing and specification details for the new Santa Fe 4x4.
Available in either 2WD or 4WD guise, all models will be offered with the same 2.2-litre diesel engine producing 194bhp and 311lb-ft of torque. The front-wheel drive model manages a combined 47.9mpg and emits 155g/km of CO2 while the four-wheel drive model returns 46.3mpg and emits 159g/km. Fitment of the optional automatic gearbox does harm economy and emissions, however, lowering the fuel economy to 41.5mpg and boosting emissions to 178g/km.
Both five- and seven-seat configurations are on offer and the Santa Fe will be available in three levels of trim: Style, Premium and Premium SE. The Style gets 18-inch alloys, reverse parking sensors, daytime running lights, air-conditioning, Bluetooth and self-levelling suspension (on the seven-seat model only). Premium trim adds touch-screen sat nav, reverse parking camera, climate control, heated front seats, electric folding mirrors and leather seats while Premium SE models also comes with 19-inch alloys, keyless entry, xenon headlights, electric driver's seat adjustment and front parking sensors.
The Santa Fe comes with Hyundai's five-year 'triple care' package which means owners get a five-year warranty, five-years' roadside assistance and five years' free vehicle checks.
The Santa Fe will be available in the UK from October with prices starting from £25,495 for the 2WD Style model, rising to £34,395 for the seven-seat 4WD Premium SE.
