A prototype of the latest in the Honda small series will debut next month and images have been released in advance.
The new model will come packaged in an all new shell which has extended the exterior dimensions in order to create more space inside the cabin area. The car will be 15mm longer and the wheelbase 30mm longer, giving the much needed space which small car buyers are increasingly demanding.
The interior layout further supports the expansion in cabin space by using clever storage solutions and Honda Magic Seats which claim to increase practicality and versatility.
Set for release in summer 2015, new Earth Dreams Technology claims to give the third generation European Jazz improved efficiency and green credentials. The new 1.3 litre i-VTEC petrol engine is supported by either a six-speed manual or a CVT transmission.
Honda (UK) Leon Brannan, Head of Cars, commented: “The Jazz is a hugely important car for Honda in the UK, and has been a runaway success since its original launch. It has an extremely loyal following, its reliability is legendary. The new Jazz with its sleek, modern design, refined and comfortable ride, will, we are confident, build even more loyal followers.”
