The first image of the new CR-V concept has been released by Honda.
The fourth generation CR-V is set for release in the US by the end of this year and Europe by Autumn 2012, and this image provides an insight into the potential styling of the model.
The concept is built with a bolder and more prominent exterior than the previous generation model, with notable changes such as the lower front bumper which integrates more smoothly into the fascia. This should make for improved aerodynamics.
The vertical taillights have been enhanced in a similar fashion, integrating further into the body of the vehicle, and the new model is tipped to deliver improved fuel economy.
The hugely popular CR-V is sold incredibly in more than 160 countries worldwide, and the concept is set for public display in September 2011 at the Orange County International Auto Show.
