The 82nd International Geneva Motor Show 2012 will see the debut of the new MINI John Cooper Works Countryman.

MINI is set to celebrate the world premiere of a portfolio of six models and three new versions of current models, which is an 'unprecedented event' in the brand's history.

The 82nd International Geneva Motor Show 2012 will witness a world premiere for the MINI John Cooper Works Countryman, which will be launched in Autumn.

The vehicle is the sixth John Cooper Works model in the current MINI range, the first with standard ALL4 all-wheel drive and also the first John Cooper Works model available with a six-speed automatic gearbox as an option.

The car is powered by a newly developed four-cylinder engine boasting a twin-scroll turbocharger, petrol direct injection and variable valve control. The car reaches 62 mph in 7 seconds.

The JCW Countryman will be capable of 39.2mpg with the manual 'box, with the auto delivering 35.3 mpg. CO2 emissions for the manual will be 167g/km, with the auto producing 187g/km.

Furthermore, the interior of the John Cooper Works features sports seats, a sports steering wheel, and model-specific displays and controls.

MINI Clubvan Concept plus three new takes

The car maker will also make the world debut of another new model: the MINI Clubvan Concept. MINI claim that this vehicle embodies the "appearance of a premium small car with increased transportation capacity for business and leisure use." However, it differs from the MINI Clubman by featuring a two-seat layout, large and flat load compartment, and opaque rear side windows.

In addition to that, MINI will also display three new interpretations of already existing models. These are the MINI Baker Street, the MINI Bayswater and the MINI Highgate Convertible.
