The new Ford Fiesta, which is being unveiled at the Paris Motor Show this week, will cost from £9,795 when it goes on sale in the UK later this year.

As we told you last week, the new Fiesta will feature a range of cosmetic improvements and will be offered with Ford's excellent 1.0-litre EcoBoost engine.

Much more importantly, however, a hot Fiesta ST model is due out early next year, with a 1.6-litre EcoBoost engine which will develop 180bhp.
