Ford has announced the price list for the new hot Focus ST.
The ST will cost from £21,995 when it goes on sale on 1st June.
Powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged EcoBoost engine, the new ST will develop 247bhp and return a combined 39.2mpg. CO2 emissions of 169g/km mean that it will fall under VED band H.
It will be available as both a hatchback and an estate and features specially-tuned suspension and brakes. A central exhaust pipe and a trapezoidal front grille distinguish it from the standard Focus.
Standard equipment on all models includes 18-inch alloy wheels, Recaro seats, air-con, keyless start, DAB radio, and Bluetooth and USB connectivity.
The ST-2 is priced from £23,495 and adds partial leather seats, automatic headlights and wipers, a self-dimming mirror and ST floor mats. The top-of-the-line ST-3 costs from £25,495 and includes full leather seats (heated in the front) along with LED daytime running lights, Bi-xenon headlights, keyless entry and power folding mirrors.
The Focus ST's debut coincides with a role in the new Sweeney film, starring Ray Winstone and Plan B.
