Honda has released the first image of the ninth generation Civic, which is set for its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September ahead of its 2012 launch in Europe.
The new model sports a rear combination light that improves the aerodynamics of the car, by managing air flow over the top and sides of the vehicle.
Over 20 million Civics have been sold since the car was launched in 1972, 650,000 of which have been sold in the UK, with the new model boasting a more aesthetically pleasing exterior.
Moreover, the ninth generation Civic will continue to deliver impressively low running costs and excellent reliability, as well as class-leading interior space.
