The Chevrolet Orlando has been named the best value towing car at the yearly Towcar Awards.

The awards were judged by testers from What Car?, Practical Caravan and the Camping and Caravanning Club. The judges were impressed with the practicality, torque and stability of Chevy's seven-seater 4x4.

With prices starting from £16,410, the Orlando is capable of pulling 1.5 tonnes – the equivalent of a medium-to-large caravan.

One of the judges, Nigel Donnelly of Practical Caravan said "You get a lot of car for your money with the Chevrolet Orlando. It's very stable, has plenty of space for a family's luggage and is sturdily built."
