Prices for the new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray will start from £61,495 when it goes on sale in the UK later this year.
Annoyingly, this means that UK buyers will be charged nearly double the $51,995 (£33,217) American buyers are expected to fork out for the Corvette.
However, on the plus side, all UK cars will be equipped with the Z51 performance pack, which includes an enhanced aerodynamic package, an electronic limited-slip diff, new shocks, springs and stabiliser bars and a dry sump.
UK Corvettes will also get larger wheels, with 19-inchers on the front and 20-inchers on the back, and bigger, beefier brakes. On top of this, the Corvette also gets the latest magnetic ride control suspension, which has been tuned specifically for European roads.
The new 'Vette will come with an all-new 6.2-litre V8 engine coupled to a seven-speed manual gearbox. The engine develops 460bhp and 465lb-ft of torque, propelling the car to 60mph in less than four seconds.
On the inside, the Corvette gets Chevrolet's new MyLink infotainment system with two eight-inch colour display screens, a USB port, an SD card slot and an aux input. Options include metallic paint (£600), Tintcoat paint (£1,000), sat-nav (£1,450) and Black Aluminium wheels (£550).
The Chevrolet Corvette Stingray goes on sale in the autumn and will be available in left-hand drive only.
