Chevrolet has opened the order books on its new Chevrolet Camaro.
The latest incarnation of the iconic muscle car is priced at £34,995 for the coupe, or £39,995 for the convertible model. Powered by a 426bhp, 6.2-litre V8, with a six-speed manual gearbox the Camaro coupe goes from 0-62mph in 5.2 seconds, and to a top speed of 155mph. There is the option of a six-speed automatic gearbox, costing an additional £1,500.
Chevrolet is also offering a limited edition 45th Anniversary version of the Camaro. Finished in Carbon Flash Black with red and silver stripes and dark silver 20-inch alloys, the limited edition model also has a special leather interior with red, white, and blue stitching, and unique white-backed instrument panel. The 45th Anniversary Camaro is priced at £36,495 for the coupe and £41,495 for the convertible.
Chevrolet dealerships are taking orders for the new Camaro now, with the first examples to be delivered in late spring.
