The Chevrolet Cruze will arrive on dealers’ forecourts next month, with prices starting from £13,995.
The Cruze will be offered with a choice of three engines: a 1.6-litre petrol developing 122bhp, a 1.8-litre petrol with 139bhp and a 160bhp 2.0-litre diesel.
In terms of equipment, the entry level LS model comes with electric front windows, air con, remote locking, CD player and electric folding door mirrors. Upgrading to the LT trim gets you cruise control, 16-inch alloys, leather trim on the steering wheel and gearknob, a trip computer and electric windows all round. The LTZ comes with USB port, automatic headlights and wipers, 17-inch alloys and Bluetooth and the range-topping LTZ with executive pack gets leather seats - heated in the front - and Sat Nav.
The new car will be offered with Chevrolet's five-year warranty.
The Cruze is an important car for Chevrolet as the small hatchback market is he UK's biggest. Mark Terry, Chevrolet Managing Director said: "The hatchback version of the Cruze is a massively important new car for us, as it not only appeals on a retail level, but also massively increases Chevrolet's appeal to the fleet market"
