No longer the preserve of country-folk, the full-size off-roader is now a common sight on UK roads, whether they're being driven badly in supermarket car parks or clogging up the roads on the school run.
Okay, okay, we know -- we're reviewing the cars, not the drivers. A good 4x4 needs to be spacious, practical, rugged, reliable and comfortable, and although many of them will only ever see the countryside from the inside lane of the motorway, they need to be capable off-roaders too.
