Audi has opened to order books for the new RS Q3 and RS 7, with the first customer deliveries expected to take place early next year.
The RS Q3 is now available to order, with prices starting from £43,000, while the RS 7 Sportback is on sale priced from £83,495.
The new RS Q3 (above) is powered by a 2.5-litre five-cylinder engine mated to a seven-speed double-clutch gearbox. Producing 306bhp and 310lb-ft of torque, the RS Q3 will hit 62mph in 5.5 seconds and reach an electronically-limited top speed of 155mph. Thanks partly to the fitment of start-stop technology, the RS Q3 will return a claimed 32.1mpg and emit 206g/km of CO2.
The RS 7 (below), on the other hand, gets a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine which churns out 552bhp, giving a 0-62mph time of 3.9 seconds. Although the top speed is pegged at 155mph, customers can choose to raise this to 174mph with an optional Dynamic package or 189mph with the Dynamic plus package. Cylinder-on-demand technology is included as standard alongside stop-start, allowing the car to return a combined 28.8mpg.
With the addition of the two new models, Audi's RS range now comprises of eight different cars with a combined power output of 3452bhp which, although a fairly meaningless statistic, is quite a cool one nevertheless.
