Aston Martin has today revealed a new Vantage. The V8 Vantage S promises to be a refinement of the standard Vantage offering new levels of performance and driver involvement.
The main changes are under the bonnet. Aston has tweaked and tuned its 4.7-litre V8 engine to produce 430bhp and 361lb-ft of torque. Other changes include a quicker steering rack, bigger front brakes, beefed up suspension and a new stability control system called DSC.
A new Sportshift II gearbox feeds the power from that uprated engine to the rear wheels and promises even quicker gear changes than before and better acceleration.
These performance tweaks should make the Vantage an even better driver’s car than it was before and a new exhaust system promises to enhance the driving experience further by improving the car’s sonorous soundtrack.
The new car is available as both a tin-top and a roadster and is available to order now.
