Alfa Romeo has sustained the sales success seen in the first quarter of 2011, posting a market share increase of 65% up to the end of July, figures from the SMMT have shown.

These figures are 70% above the national average and show that while economic growth has slowed down and sales figures have slumped, Alfa Romeo is enjoying a period of prosperity. This is mainly due to the success of its Giulietta small hatchback.

Alfa Romeo has capitalised on the fall in consumer confidence by offering what it calls a ‘Peace of Mind’ package which is offered with all new MiTos and Giuliettas and includes a three year unlimited mileage warranty, 3 years AA cover and 5 year/50,000 mile complimentary servicing.
