Volkswagen Tiguan Overview

It has so far only been produced in one generation with the current model offering the choice between five petrol, and three diesel engines.

The Tiguan offers a great driving experience as a result of its responsive engines and its great amount of grip.

Background

The Volkswagen Tiguan was first put into production by Volkswagen in 2007. It has since been a popular option in many different markets including Europe.

It is available in three specification levels; Tiguan Trend & Fun, Tiguan Sport & Style and Tiguan Track & Field. There are also 4 trim levels available to the UK market.

The Trend and Fun spec is the entry level spec which has a bunch of features such as a Trailer Stability Program which integrates with its ESP.

The Sport & Style spec has all the same features as the Trend & Fun spec with the addition of a lot of chrome and other features such as a cruise control system and a tyre pressure indicator.

The Track & Field spec is the spec you want if you are an off road enthusiast. It features technology such as a hill descent assistant, an EDS adaption, ABS adaption and hill ascent assistant amongst others to make it as good as possible when off-roading.
