Peugeot 2008 Overview
The 2008 is available in four trim levels -- Access+, Active, Allure and Feline -- and with a choice between two petrol and two diesel engines. The diesel line-up consists of a 1.4-litre unit with 70bhp and a 1.6-litre model with either 92bhp or 115bhp. The petrol range consists of a 1.2-litre engine with 82bhp and will be joined by the older 1.6-litre non-turbocharged unit from next year.
Underneath the extremely pretty body, the 2008 feels remarkably solid -- a high quality product. On top of this the interior is very stylishly-designed with even the more basic models in the range getting a number of neat touches.
The 2008 is also spacious enough to seat taller adults in the back and with a capacity of 360-litres the boot's a good size too.
Background
The Peugeot 2008 was revealed at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, following an unveiling in concept form at the Paris Motor Show the previous year. It arrived on the UK market in July 2013.
Summary
The Peugeot 2008 is a great little SUV for those looking for smart looks, bags of practicality and an air of quality for a reasonable price.
