Mclaren 12C Overview
The MP4 is fitted with a twin-turbo 3.8-litre V8 which develops 592bhp, propelling the car from 0-62mph in an impressive 3.2 seconds and on to a top speed of 205mph.
It's quite simply a masterpiece. The handling is absolutely sublime, and the handling is unbelievably sharp. Background
The MP4-12C went into production in 2011 and was McLaren's first attempt at a road car since the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren of 2003. The company's first effort, the McLaren F1, was the fastest car in the world when it was introduced in 1993 and was famously owned -- and crashed -- by Rowan Atkinson.
Summary
The McLaren MP4-12C is arguably the greatest car ever made; by almost every measure it outclasses everything else on the road and every car which has come before it. However, it doesn't feel quite as special as a Ferrari or a Lamborghini and, considering its high list price, this may put some buyers off.
