Land Rover Range Rover Sport Car Reviews

As the name suggests, the Range Rover Sport is a sportier version of the Land Rover Range Rover. The Range Rover Sport certainly catches the eye while offering enviable comfort and a vast amount of cabin space. The design incorporates a lower roofline and sleeker styling than the full-sized Range Rover, but it still has plenty of presence despite the slightly smaller dimensions.

Land Rover Range Rover Sport Overview

The Range Rover Sport can seat four with ease and five without too much of a squeeze. The boot is deep and a good size. It has a separately opening rear screen allowing smaller items to be dropped in without having to lift the whole door open.

With enhanced comfort and a supercharged 4.2 litre engine, it features suspension components similar to a Porsche 911. The environmental impact of the Range Rover Sport, however, is not very favourable.

Background

The Range Rover Sport was introduced in 2005.

The model features more luxurious extras than the original Range Rover and is designed more for the on-road drive.

The 2010 model year Range Rover Sport made its debut at the New York Auto Show in April 2009. The Sport experienced a mild facelift with a more aerodynamic front-end including new headlamps, grille and bumper.

Moreover, the updated model was fitted with a revised engine, and consequently has improved in terms of emissions and fuel consumption.

The second-generation Range Rover Sport was launched at the 2013 New York Motor Show by James Bond actor Daniel Craig. The car won initial plaudits from the motoring press for its styling and engineering.

Summary

The Land Rover Range Rover Sport is the ultimate luxury 4x4. It provides comfort and an incredibly pleasurable driving experience with unrivalled style. There are few ways four five people to travel in greater style and comfort.
