Ford B-MAX Overview
Aside from the entry level 1.4 litre petrol engine, also available are a 1.6 petrol and a 1.0 litre EcoBoost petrol, along with 1.5 and 1.6 litre diesel engines. The transmission is a 6-speed automatic one.
The B-MAX features sliding rear doors for ease of access, and split-folding rear seats which can be dropped down to provide a large flat loading space. The cabin is fairly spacious throughout, with all passengers having a decent amount of head and legroom.
Moreover, the interior fabrics are both stylish and comfortable, while the control panel is well laid out, although a little complicated to use at first.
The B-MAX is available for between £12,995 and £18,895, with the eco-friendly 1.0 litre engine able to deliver up to 57mpg. This engine also boasts low CO2 emissions of just 114g/km. The best performer in terms of fuel economy is the 1.6 TDCI diesel however, capable of 70.6mpg.
