Volkswagen have revealed the price list for the new Jetta range.
Prices for the entry level Volkswagen Jetta S, powered by a 124bhp 1.4-litre TSI petrol engine, start at £16,960.
The Volkswagen Jetta range comes with a number of engine options. In addition to the 1.4-litre petrol engine found in the entry level Jetta S, there is a 162bhp 1.4-litre TSI petrol unit. The diesel options begin with a 106bhp 1.6-litre TDI, fitted with Volkswagen BlueMotion Technology Start/Stop and battery regeneration, which offers a combined 67.3mpg and C02 emissions of 109g/km. A 2.0-litre TDI is also available, producing 142bhp, combined returns of 58.9mpg, and C02 emissions of 126g/km.
The new Volkswagen Jetta is fitted as standard with air conditioning, CD player with MP3 compatibility, six airbags, ABS, and an electronic stabilisation programme. With an increase in length over the model it replaces, the new Jetta also sees an increase in cabin space for occupants.
Diesel powered Volkswagen Jettas start at £18,410 for the Jetta S 1.6-litre TDI BlueMotion Technology. The top-of-the-range model is the Jetta Sport 2.0-litre TDI with a 6-Speed DSG gearbox, costing £22,320.
The new Jetta is available to order now, with the first models due to be delivered in May.
