Vauxhall have launched a new limited edition model as part of its refreshed Corsa range.
Called the Corsa VXR Blue, the new Vauxhall model is powered by a 195bhp, 1.6-litre turbo engine, which propels the car from 0-60mph in 6.8 seconds, and to a top speed of 140mph. When its overboost function is applied, the engine produces 192 lb-ft of torque.
Named for its Arden Blue metallic paint, the Corsa VXR Blue comes with a standard feature list that includes 18-inch alloy wheels, dark tinted glass and Recaro seats.
This equipment list is more extensive than the standard Corsa VXR model. Externally the Corsa VXR Blue shares the same looks as the VXR, including deep set fog lamps, a wider and more prominent grille, and a sporty looking front spoiler.
These features set the sportier models in the range apart from the standard Corsa, and the VXR Blue also has a blue coloured signature bar across its grille. Lowered sports suspension, uprated brakes, and a switchable Electronic Stability Programme add to the car's sporting credentials.
The Vauxhall Corsa VXR Blue is available to order now, with dealer availability planned for late February. The limited edition model is priced at £19,425.
