A new deal between Nissan and Uber will see up to 2,000 UK-built all-electric LEAF models hit the road as part of Uber’s Clean Air Plan.

Drivers who use the Uber app will be offered a unique deal on a new Nissan LEAF, including a dedicated EV education programme, transaction price, and marketing plan.  Uber say drivers will save, on average, £4,500 depending on the miles they drive by switching to electric.

Uber’s Clean Air Plan has seen the use of electric vehicles on the app increase by more than 350% in the past year.  In London, Uber aim to be fully-electric within five years.
Built at Nissan’s Sunderland plant, the all-electric LEAF has a 40kWh battery and can travel up to 168 miles on a single charge.
